6 years old!!

Just a month and a half late.  Jinettie turned 6 October 12 and boy did she have the count down going.  She was soo excited for her birthday to come.  She had a soccer game that day so we had her birthday right after it so she could invite people to come to her game.  She had Gma and Gpa Bartu, Gpa Richard and Gma Shirley, Great Gma Christesen, Ethan and Annaka and Elias, Uncle Alan, and Gma Ro.  The first part of her game she was quite fussy and whiny and saying the boys were faster than her. (Which they are not).  She finally had a chance to run and score a goal-- and that is all it took.  She scored 2 or 3 goals right after that. 

Afterwards we had Chicken Noodle soup and then presents and cake.  She had lots of cousins there and loved every minute of it.  She was really good to let her cousins help her open her presents and to share her new toys with them.  She is growing up too fast.  I had her parent teacher conference the other day and her teacher says she doesn't know what to do with her.  She already goes to the first grade to work with the first grade teacher who says she is reading as her top 1st graders are.  She is already doing math that they won't get to in Kindergarten until the end of the year.  They said they love having her in their class.  They said the only problem they have with her is when she is not the line leader then she thinks she has to be 2nd in line.  So, she will crowd in front of the other kids.  She is such a great sister and it soo fun to hear her read especially out of the Book of Mormon.  I wonder how she knows the words she does.  She has also started piano lessons, which she loves.  She needed something more this year instead of just a half a day of school, so this has been awesome for her.  She is such a blessing to have in our family and in our lives.  We love her!!
