The BONKER!!

Oh man, is Jinettie a character!! Her new thing is to BONK!! everyone. If you are talking to her or if she is eating-- she just looks at you and puts her head down and looks up. I have a put a few pictures so you can see what she looks like. It is soooo funny, then of course when we want her to Bonk!! she won't do it. She is not much of a performer -- especially when WE want to show her off.

Jinettie is sooo close to walking!! She started off pushing her little walker around, but she is now standing up holding onto nothing. Well, I guess you could say she tricks herself, because she is usually holding on to a toy or something, but it is not the furniture. She now will be standing up hanging on to the furniture and if we move in the middle of the room, she will walk to us. She is getting really good at keeping her balance. I have a video on my school email for those that want to see it. If not, we will be home in less than a month and hopefully she will be walking by then.

She no longer has a binkie!! It was actually a great transistion for her. She had no problems at all without the binkie. The first night she went to bed and maybe cried for about 2 -3 min. The next day her first nap she probably cried for about 15 min. other than that, she has been great!!!
She is also becoming a "Daddy's Girl"!! She fusses and squirms when I try and rock her, but when DAD rocks she seems to be content and he gets her to go to sleep. So you know Clay loves that!! She has even started to cry in the morning when "da da" leaves for work, or when he walks out of the room and he doesn't take her with him.


We will be headed home in less than a month. We are all very excited!! We will let you know the details of what we are planning for her birthday, but it looks like we will have it on that Friday night, which I believe is Friday the 13th. You know us, we like that Date :)!
